ChartPro ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application.

Information We Collect

Chart Images

When you use our chart analysis feature, you provide chart images either from your camera or photo gallery. These images are:

• Sent to OpenAI's servers for AI-powered analysis
• Processed to identify patterns, support/resistance levels, and trading signals
• Not permanently stored on our servers
• Stored locally on your device as part of your analysis history

Local Data Storage

The following data is stored only on your device and is never transmitted to our servers:

• Analysis results and history
• Trading journal entries (trades, notes, emotions, prices)
• Chat conversations about your analyses
• App preferences and settings

Anonymous Analytics

We collect anonymous usage data through Firebase Analytics to improve our app. This includes:

• App opens and screen views
• Feature usage (analysis started, journal saved, etc.)
• Error reports for debugging

No User Accounts

ChartPro does not require user accounts or authentication. We do not collect:

• Names or email addresses
• Phone numbers
• User IDs or login credentials
• Any personally identifiable information

Third-Party Services

OpenAI

Chart images are sent to OpenAI for analysis. OpenAI processes these images according to their Privacy Policy. We recommend reviewing their policy to understand how they handle data.

RevenueCat

We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions and in-app purchases. RevenueCat processes purchase data according to their Privacy Policy.

Firebase (Google)

We use Firebase for anonymous analytics and crash reporting. No personal data is collected. See Google's Privacy Policy.

Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data:

• All data transmission uses secure HTTPS encryption
• Local data is stored in encrypted storage on your device
• We do not store your chart images on our servers

Your Rights

You have full control over your data:

• Delete Data: You can delete all your analysis history and journal entries from within the app settings
• No Account: Since we don't create accounts, there's no account data to request or delete

Children's Privacy

ChartPro is not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
