By downloading, installing, or using US Citizenship Test Prep ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

US Citizenship Test Prep is an educational mobile application designed to help individuals prepare for the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) Civics Test. The App provides:

All 128 official USCIS civics test questions
Study materials organized into 12 chapters
Practice quizzes and mock exams
Progress tracking features
Educational content in English and Spanish

3. Educational Purpose and No Guarantees

While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information based on official USCIS materials, please understand:

No Guarantee of Passing: Using this App does NOT guarantee that you will pass the actual USCIS citizenship test
Official Source: You should always verify information with official USCIS resources at www.uscis.gov
Content Updates: While we update content regularly, USCIS may change questions, answers, or test formats without notice
Your Responsibility: It is your responsibility to ensure you are studying the most current materials and to verify all information

4. USCIS Content Attribution

The civics test questions and official answers used in this App are sourced from publicly available USCIS materials, specifically the "USCIS Civics Test Study Guide" (2025 version). All credit for the official test content belongs to the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.

5. License to Use

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to install and use the App on your personal mobile device for your own educational use. You may NOT:

Modify, reverse engineer, or decompile the App
Distribute, sell, or sublicense the App or its content
Use the App for any commercial purpose
Copy or reproduce the App's content for redistribution

6. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

Use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms
Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App
Verify all information with official USCIS sources before relying on it for your citizenship application
Understand that this App is a study tool and not a substitute for official USCIS guidance

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
Accuracy, reliability, or completeness of the content
That the App will be error-free or uninterrupted
That defects will be corrected

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY:

Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities
Damages resulting from your use or inability to use the App
Damages resulting from failing the citizenship test or any immigration-related consequences

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP (IF ANY).

9. Intellectual Property

Except for USCIS public domain content, all other content in the App including but not limited to: design, layout, graphics, educational materials, explanations, and software code is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

10. Updates and Modifications

We reserve the right to:

Update, modify, or discontinue the App at any time without notice
Change or update the content to reflect current USCIS materials
Add or remove features

11. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time for any reason, including violation of these Terms. Upon termination, you must delete the App from your device.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the use of the App.
