These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the SQE Master mobile application (“App”). By using the App you agree to these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using SQE Master you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
SQE Master is a study-aid application designed to help users prepare for the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE). It provides flashcards, quizzes, practice exams, and progress tracking. All content is for educational purposes only and is not a substitute for official SQE preparation materials or legal advice.
3. User Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use this App. By using the App you represent that you meet this requirement.
4. Subscriptions and Payments
The App offers optional premium subscriptions:
- Weekly subscription with a 3-day free trial
- Annual subscription
Subscriptions are billed through Apple’s In-App Purchase system and are subject to Apple’s own terms and refund policies.
Free trial: Your subscription begins automatically at the end of the free-trial period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it expires. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings.
Auto-renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. The renewal charge is the same as the original subscription price.
5. Content Accuracy
While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that the content is complete, current, or free from errors. SQE Master is not a substitute for professional legal advice or official SRA preparation materials.
6. User Responsibilities
You agree not to:
- Copy, redistribute, or resell the App or its content
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the App
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to circumvent subscription payments or access controls
7. Intellectual Property
All content, design, and code within SQE Master are the intellectual property of SQE Master and are protected by applicable copyright and intellectual-property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use the SQE Master name, logos, or trademarks.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
SQE Master is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SQE Master shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or anticipated savings.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
